Paul Maholm made it 3-for-3 on excellent starts as a Brave in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Padres, allowing just one run on five hits in seven innings. Maholm struck out seven and walked three in moving to 2-1 as a Brave, and 11-7 on the season. He's allowed just four runs in 23 innings (1.57 ERA) since relocating to Atlanta. For the year, he's sporting an excellent 3.39 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. He'll look to keep rolling against the Nationals in Washington on Monday.
