Paul Maholm allowed one run in seven innings Friday in a win over the Diamondbacks. The Cubs will need some pitching to get through the season, but they still might offload Maholm along with Ryan Dempster and/or Matt Garza this month. Maholm certainly won't fetch the same return as the other two, but he's been decent enough this year, going 7-6 with a 4.33 ERA.
