Paul Maholm allowed just an unearned run over 7 1/3 innings in defeating the Twins on Wednesday. Unfortunately, Maholm's two bad starts this year were really bad, because he's given up just nine earned runs in the other eight. This is the fourth time he's gone without allowing a single earned run. Overall, he's 6-4 with a 3.38 ERA.
