Paul Goldschmidt hit the third home run of his young major league career in Arizona's loss to the Phillies on Wednesday. He took Cliff Lee deep for a two-run bomb in the second. Goldschmidt has struck out a ton since getting the call on August 1 (20 times in 44 at-bats), but has also roped five extra-base hits and driven in nine runs. He should be an asset for both the Diamondbacks and NL-only league players down the stretch.
