Paul Goldschmidt had a monster game in Tuesday's 7-1 victory over the Giants, going 1-for-2 with a homer and five RBI. Goldschmidt got the Diamondbacks on the board with a sacrifice fly in the first inning, and added a three-run bomb off Tim Lincecum in the third. He'd add another sacrifice fly in the fifth for good measure. The 24-year-old slugger has developed into one of the finest first baseman in the National League this season, hitting .288/.363/.493 with 19 bombs, 81 RBI and 16 stolen bases.
