Paul Goldschmidt (back) went 2-for-6 with a solo homer Monday in his return to action. Goldschmidt missed the previous three games with a strained back muscle. The 25-year-old first baseman is hitting .290/.363/.497 this season to go along with 20 homers, 82 RBI and 18 stolen bases.
