St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. This appears to be a routine day off for the veteran slugger. Rangel Ravelo will cover first base and bat third versus righty Anthony DeSclafani. Ravelo is in a favorable part of the batting order, but doesn't have much upside with the bat.
