Patrick Corbin pitched well in a no-decision against the Pirates on Tuesday, allowing two runs on six hits over six innings of work. The young lefty racked up a career-high seven strikeouts while walking three. He pitched into quite a few jams but operated effectively in situations that required damage control. Corbin left in line to earn his fourth victory, but his bullpen was unable to protect that lead. He's now 3-4 on the season with a 3.53 ERA and 42/18 K/BB ratio over 51 innings. While Chase Field can be a difficult place to pitch, Corbin should be able to make an impact down the stretch in fantasy leagues, especially when skimmed for his road starts. He'll get the ball next Sunday at home against the Nationals.
