Patrick Corbin improved to 5-0 by allowing one run in 6 1/3 innings Thursday in a 2-1 win over the Phillies. Corbin limited the Phillies to just four hits (all singles) and two walks (one intentional) while striking out four. He also hit a batter. The lone run scored on a fielder's choice after Corbin was replaced by Matt Reynolds in the seventh inning. One of the biggest surprises of the early part of the season, Corbin has gone at least six innings in all seven of his starts this season and has allowed two runs or less in each of them. He'll carry a 1.75 ERA into a start against the Braves next week.
