Partch was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Stephen Newsbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Partch will join the Pirates' roster for the first time this season, and he hasn't appeared in a major league game since 2014, as a member of the Reds. The right-hander has fared well at Triple-A, compiling a 1.30 ERA and allowing just 16 hits and four earned runs over 27.2 innings. Pittsburgh also recalled Corey Luebke on Saturday and optioned both Rob Scahill and Wilfredo Boscan to Indianapolis.
