Parker was called up by the Rockies on Tuesday, MLB.com's Cody Ulm reports. He failed to reach base in his lone pinch-hit opportunity in Tuesday's loss to the Giants. Parker will join the Rockies for the third time this season, but as was the case in his previous two stints with the club, he remains buried on the depth chart. His predicament will only worsen Sunday, when outfielder/first baseman Michael Cuddyer is expected to return from the DL.
