Panik went 1-for-4 with a run scored in Thursday's win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Panik has struggled since returning from the disabled list July 28, batting .111 (3-for-27) over that span. He has been moved out of the two-hole in favor of Angel Pagan, but the lineup shift hasn't help the second baseman. He has only struck out three times in those 29 plate appearances, so he is at least making consistent contact indicating that he may be experiencing some bad luck. Luck aside, Panik will need to start racking up some hits before owners can consider him as an option going forward.
