Panik is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Diamondbacks. Panik will take a seat Wednesday with the left-handed Andrew Chafin on the mound for the Diamondbacks. He has been a mainstay in the lineup since being called up from Triple-A Sacramento, and has produced to the tune of a .303/.347/.373 batting line with the Giants this season. Joaquin Arias will get the chance at second base Wednesday and bats second in his place.
