Padres recalled OF/1B Kyle Blanks from Triple-A Tucson. With Carlos Quentin likely to begin serving his suspension on Monday, the Padres need some outfield depth. Blanks was batting .296/.424/.519 with a homer early on at Triple-A and should see a handful of starts in left field while Quentin is out.
