Padres placed RHP Tim Stauffer on the 15-day disabled list with a right triceps injury. Stauffer felt fine after playing catch on Wednesday, but the Padres don't want to risk him taking the mound at less than 100 percent. The 29-year-old right-hander should be cleared to make his 2012 debut by mid-April.
