Padres placed RHP Huston Street on the 15-day disabled list with a right lat strain. The good news is that an MRI revealed that the injury is just a strain and not something more serious that would require surgery. Andrew Cashner is the most likely candidate to fill in as the Padres' closer in Street's absence, and should be picked up immediately in all formats.
