Padres placed OF Jeremy Hermida on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hip flexor. Hermida was seeing regular at-bats behind Will Venable and Chris Denorfia prior to the injury. Outfielder Blake Tekotte will be promoted in a corresponding move.
