Padres optioned RHP Miles Mikolas to Triple-A Tucson. He was sent down as the Padres welcomed Yonder Alonso and Jedd Gyorko back from the disabled list. Mikolas made just one appearance during his brief stint with the big club and will return to a 3.14 ERA over 39 appearances at Triple-A.
