Padres and RHP Luke Gregerson avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.2 million contract. Gregerson requested a salary of $3.75 million and was offered $2.875 million from the Padres when arbitration figures were exchanged earlier this month. It only took 10 days for the two sides to find a middle ground.
