Pacheco signed a minor league contract with the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports. The Diamondbacks claimed Pacheco off waivers from the Rockies last June, keeping him on the roster for the rest of the season before outrighting him in November. The 28-year-old's contact skills have taken a dive since he batted .309 as a rookie, but his ability to play catcher and the corner infield spots make him a useful player to keep around the organization for depth purposes.
