Owner Arte Moreno would not say that Hamilton, who will not be punished by the league after admitting to using drugs of abuse, would play another game for the Angels, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports. Moreno went on to say that "we have a contract with Hamilton and that contract has specific language, that he signed and that was approved, that said he could not drink or use drug. Before adding that the team could look to pursue that clause in the contract. The MLBPA refutes the assertion that such language exists, as it would "supersede the provisions of the Joint Drug Agreement and/or the Basic Agreement."
