Owings (shoulder) began his rehab assignment with the complex league team in Arizona on Sunday, going 2-for-3 with two steals. He will eventually progress to Triple-A Reno on Friday, before presumably being activated from the DL an rejoining the Diamondbacks in late-August/early-September.
