Carroll reportedly injured his shoulder on a swing that resulted in a home run. He had gotten off to a strong start for High-A Hillsboro but will now have his season derailed. Nevertheless, there is still plenty of promise for a long big-league career, as Carroll will still be only 21 to open the 2022 campaign.
