O's manager Buck Showalter indicated Friday that Jason Hammel (forearm) won't return from the disabled list when first eligible. The O's still don't have any reason to believe that the injury is elbow related, but Hammel is not progressing as quickly as they originally expected. He should be able to return to the Orioles' rotation at some point in mid-August.
