Ortiz left Sunday's game vs. the Mariners with a bruised right foot, Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald reports. For the second straight game, Ortiz left early on account of a bruise, though it appears the left elbow contusion he sustained Saturday night is no longer an issue. Sunday's injury could be just a minor concern as well, as Ortiz seems to just be dealing with some swelling after fouling a ball off his foot. The Red Sox will likely reevaluate him Monday morning before determining if he's fit to play in the series opener against the Blue Jays.
