Ortiz left Saturday's game with a left elbow bruise, the Boston Herald's Scott Lauber reports. He reacted in intense pain when he was hit on the elbow by a pitch earlier in the game, but didn't come out until his next at-bat was due up. Assuming X-rays come back negative, he should be back in the lineup in short order.
