Ortiz is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds, according to Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe. The Red Sox will not be able to use a DH Wednesday playing in a National League park, so Ortiz will open on the bench while Mike Napoli gets the start at first base.
