Ortiz had two hits, two RBI, two runs scored and homered in Sunday's win over Kansas City. The homer was the 476th of his career and moved him into 29th place all time, ahead of Stan Musial and Willie Stargell. After hitting six homers in the first 52 games, Ortiz has went deep four times in the past 11 games. He's hit safely in 10 of those 11 games, going 12-for-37 (.324) while slugging .647. Boston's lineup heated up the past week and Ortiz will benefit from the hot-hitting Mookie Betts, Brock Holt and Dustin Pedroia hitting ahead of him.
