Orioles signed RHP Evan Meek to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Meek, formerly of the Pirates, pitched exclusively with the Rangers' Triple-A affiliate last year and posted a 4.50 ERA and 80/46 K/BB ratio in 108 innings over 18 relief appearances and 15 starts. He'll attempt to win a bullpen job in the spring, but will likely begin the season in the minors.
