Orioles placed RHP Jason Hammel on the 15-day disabled list with right forearm tenderness. The O's are hopeful that it's not a serious injury. Hammel, who will be eligible to return from the disabled list on August 13, owns a 5.20 ERA and 1.51 WHIP in 123 innings (21 starts) this season for Baltimore.
