Orioles placed RHP Alfredo Simon on the Restricted List. He left the team Sunday to attend a hearing in the Dominican Republic regarding his manslaughter case. Simon is still scheduled to start Saturday against the Indians. The 30-year-old right-hander could be back as soon as Tuesday, but that's no guarantee.
