Orioles placed 2B Brian Roberts on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 2, with a groin strain. It was pretty easy to see this coming, as Roberts isn't exactly a fast healer. It's not clear at this point how long he'll be sidelined, but it probably won't be a minimum stay on the DL. Robert Andino will handle second base while Roberts is out.
