Orioles optioned RHP Evan Meek to Triple-A Norfolk. The O's need a fresh arm after Thursday's doubleheader. Meek tossed 9 1/3 scoreless innings to start the season but has been blasted for nine runs over his last 2 1/3 frames. Baltimore will announce a corresponding move prior to Friday's game.
