Orioles optioned LHP T.J. McFarland to Triple-A Norfolk. A corresponding roster move will be announced before Saturday's game. McFarland worked three innings of relief in Friday's loss to the Royals, allowing one run on five hits while striking out a pair. He's likely to return to the O's bullpen soon.
