Orioles designated RHP Alex Burnett for assignment. The move clears a spot for Kevin Gausman on the 40-man roster. Burnett made two appearances with the Orioles earlier this month and owns a 1.86 ERA and 8/1 K/BB ratio over 9 2/3 innings in Triple-A. He could draw interest on waivers.
