Orioles activated RHP Alfredo Simon from the 15-day disabled list. As expected. Simon struck out three over two innings in his lone rehab appearance Sunday with Double-A Bowie, which was apparently enough to convince the O's that he's healthy and ready to go. The 30-year-old right-hander will return to a long-relief role.
