Orioles acquired INF Steve Lombardozzi from the Tigers for SS Alex Gonzalez. The Tigers landed Lombardozzi from the Nationals this winter in the Doug Fister trade but decided to unload him on Monday morning to bring in some veteran shortstop help. Lombardozzi can play all around the diamond and should be an active utilityman this year in Baltimore. The 25-year-old is a Maryland native.
