Orioles acquired 1B Chris Davis and RHP Tommy Hunter from the Rangers in exchange for RHP Koji Uehara. Davis, 25, has seen his trade value plummet over the last few years. He's destroyed Triple-A pitching consistently -- posting a 1.006 OPS over 975 plate appearances in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League -- but has only a .248 batting average and 301 strikeouts over 878 major league at-bats. Davis has huge power potential, but it remains to be seen if he can ever make enough contact to become a major league regular.
