Walsh was optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Monday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Walsh struggled this spring, surrendering five runs on seven hits while striking out five in 3.2 innings over five appearances. He'll begin the 2022 campaign at Triple-A Memphis and hope to make his MLB debut at some point this season. Walsh appeared in four contests with Memphis last year, giving up four runs in four innings while striking out nine and walking three.
