Palacios was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Monday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Palacios had limited playing time during his week with the major-league club, and he went 0-for-7 with four strikeouts since he was recalled Aug. 23. He'll head back to Triple-A Buffalo after George Springer (knee) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list.
