Ramirez was optioned to Double-A Binghamton by the Mets on Friday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramirez was worthy of being added to the Mets' 40-man roster earlier this offseason but is still in need of plenty of development. The 21-year-old has loads of potential but hit just .223/.312/.319 at High-A Brooklyn in 2023.
