O'Neill, who's slashed .219/.286/.395 over 57 contests for Triple-A Tacoma, currently has a five-game hitting streak, along with five RBI over his last two games.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old is still striking out too frequently -- as evidenced by his 26.9 percent whiff rate -- but he's also collected 24 extra-base hits (16 doubles, two triples and six home runs) and stolen five bases over 234 plate appearances. O'Neill is currently enjoying one of his more consistent stretches of the season at the plate, as he's gone 6-for-20 with a trio of two-baggers and a grand slam in his last five contests. The outfield remains well-stocked at the major-league level at present, so it appears O'Neill will continue receiving some much-needed seasoning with the Rainiers for the time being.
