Freeland (elbow) allowed one run on three hits and a walk with four strikeouts during a start at Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday. He'll likely require one more rehab start at Albuquerque before joining the Rockies, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeland made his second rehab appearance Thursday, but it was his first at the Triple-A level. The lone run attributed to Freeland came on a solo homer. Still, the left-hander is expected to appear in one more rehab game before returning to the Rockies toward the end of June.
