Meadows is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Meadows will retreat to the bench for the series finale after he came off the 10-day injured list and started in center field in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Kansas City. He played all 10 innings in the victory, going 2-for-5 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored. With Meadows reporting no setbacks with his hamstring coming out of Saturday's contest, he's most likely sitting Sunday in a pre-planned maintenance day coming off the injury. The youngster is still expected to be in store for regular starts in center field now that he's healthy again.
