Omar Quintanilla went 1-for-3 with two strikeouts in the Mets' loss to the Giants on Thursday. Quintanilla is going to be in a platoon at shortstop down the stretch with youngster Wilfredo Tovar. Ruben Tejada is done for the season with a broken right fibula.
