Omar Quintanilla went 1-for-3 with a walk in Thursday's loss to the Marlins. Quintanilla started out hot this season, but he's hitting just .195 over his last 34 games. Of course, that shouldn't be a big surprise for a .222 career hitter. It's puzzling why the Mets won't call up Ruben Tejada, as he still has a chance of being a long-term contributor on the club.
