Taylor (illness) was placed on the COVID-19-related injured list Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor was a late removal from Wednesday's lineup after entering the COVID-19 protocols and he will now be away from the team for the time being while on the injured list. The Royals selected Dairon Blanco from Triple-A Omaha and he'll replace Taylor on the active roster.
