Odorizzi pitched seven very strong innings, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out four Blue Jays in Monday's no-decision.
EDGE Analysis
Odorizzi bounced back from his worst start of the season by firing the eighth quality start of his 11 second-half outings. Aside from a blip on Sep. 6 versus Baltimore, Odorizzi hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in a game since the All-Star break. Over that stretch, the right-hander is 6-1 with a 2.78 ERA, .233 BAA and 54 strikeouts in 68 innings. He's been one of the league's top pitchers lately, but he'll draw Baltimore again in his next start Sunday.
