Odorizzi (9-6) lasted only three innings Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three, but came away with a no-decision in a 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
He threw a whopping 84 pitches in his three innings before being relieved by Justin Marks. It's just the third time in his last 10 trips to the mound that Odorizzi hasn't been able to supply the Rays with a quality start, and he's posted a solid 3.52 ERA and 43:19 K:BB in 56.1 innings over that stretch. He'll get one more shot at win No. 10, but it won't come easy as he'll face the Rangers in Arlington on Saturday.
