Odorizzi (7-5) allowed three runs on five hits and a walk over six innings while striking out six to pick up the win Sunday in a 12-3 rout of the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
The runs all scored on homers by Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez, but when you get that kind of run support you can afford to leave a couple of balls over the heart of the plate. Odorizzi's now won four straight decisions over six starts with a 1.66 ERA and 33:7 K:BB in 38 innings over that stretch, a stellar run that he'll try to keep going at home Saturday against the Rangers.
